ON CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR

from Go Spell Death Backwards

Perhaps this year much more than else
we need the stockings and the bells
to cut our satire to the knee
and make us dwell in infancy.
For in the infancy there dwells
the voice of thunders who foretells
the paradise, where loosed is he
who yet is dandled by the tree.
